• To allow SMG corporate to run reports / compare venues without having to have individual accounts for each venue
• Think of it like a "species of events"
• The tree structure allows SMG to compare the different species (events) with one another
• Cross-Viewing:  permission level
• Question: are there other clients set up for cross-viewing like SMG?

• XML code: tree structure allows SMG to apply XML code changes down the tree, to ALL CLIENTS
