Memo Payment Plans - Adding Migrated Data
AnsweredHi folks!
I'm onboarding with Baltimore Convention Center and they are using Memo Payment Plans. They are manually bringing over past events for historic data and their future events of course.
When adding payment plans to an event (past or event current), they aren't able to set the first payment date to when it was actually due in the past. Is there something I'm missing that will override that message and give them the option? They want to see the correct data for when the payment was due and the “due date cannot be less than the current date” is preventing this. How did other venues migrate their data? Did they just live with the wrong information? What is the use case here if I can't allow older dates?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

I think this post may be a similar situation? Or at least I think Ryan Ungerboeck may have given information that addresses this: https://documentus.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/31199220742295-Unable-to-Change-Memo-Payment-Plan-Due-Date

While the use case that Heather presented is slightly different because they should be able to select the date they are wanting, his OG answer is 100%%%% what I am asking for. Looks like there isn't a way around this unless the restriction is removed.
I guess my question now is: What have folks done because of this restriction? List the wrong date but notate it elsewhere? -
Maybe Anthony Costantino or Minka Verkaar has thoughts?

We have currently the same case for DWTC and maybe Sarah Götza or @... can share our approach/experience for this project.

Minka Verkaar Hayley Burkhardt were you able to connect on this? If you have can you share any details from your discussion, for reference.

Hayley Burkhardt after the review today with our client DWTC i am finally able to comment on this. Issue dates can be back dated. Due dates however not ("The due date cannot be less than the current date"). The solution suggested by Maximilian Fankidejski which has already worked for another client is by the use of an sql. Technical services can help here.

Megan Fontenot Wanted to give you visibility here if you're chatting with Baltimore today. Since I'm tied up, can you track more info down on how we can use this to assist Baltimore?
Thank you! @... and Maximilian Fankidejski . -
Thanks for tapping me in Hayley. I will reach out to tech services and see how/if they can assist.
