Upsell Items for Public Facing Applications

Description of the issue:
- Customer would like to allow an option on customer facing portals such as Exhibitor Service Center or Suite Management where they can upsell the items as addon.
What does the client want to do? Why do they want to do this?
- The customer would like to allow to promote items for selling
What you've already tried or suggested. Why does this not work?
- Nothing suggested to customers. I was reviewing this post on community which may provide ambiguity that upsell is available for public facing applications. While part of is true and only available for Online Event ordering from my testing but not for any other portals.
- Reviewed ESC and OEO Configuration and public facing portals to verify the behaviour.
- My understanding is addons is not supported on customer facing portals except OEO - is that correct.
- Do we anticipate to have this functionality on other current customer facing portals or if we are reconsidering the overarching theme of portals under Event Hub? - which means this won't happen for the near term.
Business impact if not resolved
- Revenue and Margin by unable to promote items which may be sold as a part of digital journey
