What does a user's "last active" date mean?

Each user in the user list has a last active date listed:

What does this date mean?

Each time a user "connects" to the application the date is updated. What constitutes connecting? Opening the app (in a new tab, refreshing current tab, opening on new device, logging in, etc). If a user stays on the same page or goes to a different page in the same tab without refreshing their browser, you won't see the date and time update. Adblock or antivirus software can also prevent the information transfer needed to update the last active date.

Please note that the time is stored in UTC in the database and is displayed in the user's computer time zone. For the admins at the venue this isn't an issue, but it can at times look a little odd to us if we aren't in the venue time zone.
