đ Possible Bug - Users with Same Permissions Not Able to Edit Integration Configuration (Elite)
I wasn't sure if posts here needed the bug report form so here you go :)
-
Environment Observed
- Where was the issue observed? AP Elite
- Account Name: Museum of Applied Arts & Sciences (MAAS/Powerhouse)
- Account ID:account-412-A
-
Is this a converted account?
- Unknown
- Date Converted (if known)
-
Issue Scope
- All users
-
Was the issue reported by the client?
- No
-
Whatâs the problem?
- Users with the exact same permissions aren't all able to edit the integration configuration
-
Is the issue reproducible?
- Yes
-
If reproducible, where?
- Needs a prod account, reproduced on NA
- NA Account: Crystal Bridges & The Momentary (account-4467-A)
-
Steps to reproduce the issue
- Impersonate user Jakob Ossman (user-36874-A)
- Click on their name and open Momentus Connect
- Click on the âMore Informationâ on the Outlook integration card
- The user doesn't get the settings/configuration pages
- Now impersonate user Courtney van der Weyden (user-9288-A)
- Click on their name and open Momentus Connect
- Click on the âMore Informationâ on the Outlook integration card
- User is able to edit the integration settings/configuration
- System Admin should be the only permission needed, both users have that as well as the exact same user role (Full Access Role). The only difference that I can find is that Courtney has Insights Admin and Jakob doesn't, however that didn't effect it when I reproduced.
- For the reproducing, the users I found were Ally Fuelts (user-94273-A) does not have the configuration settings and Hannah Curtis (user-65822-A) does.Â
-
Expected behavior
- Users with the same permissions would be able to edit the integration
-
Workaround identified?
- No
- Attachments available?

@... and Elizabeth Fox or Victor Nogales Junior and @..., I posted this in the Connect forum because it's occurring in the actual Connect but please let me know if this should move to the Elite forum instead.
-
Apologies, I do not have enough knowledge on this to give any valuable insight straight away. I will defer to Elizabeth Fox or Victor Nogales and Charlie Vaughan-Fowler, to start with. If we're all in the same boat, I can jump back in :)
-
I'm in that boat with you, @... .  Victor Nogales Junior  or @... , any thoughts here?
It seems like a bug, but not sure on whose side; or if perhaps some other setting is at play here.
-
Any additional thoughts on this Victor Nogales Junior or @... ?Â

Hello Emma Whitlock , apologies, I missed this post.
Momentus Connect doesnât automatically inherit permissions from the core systems (Enterprise, Elite, and soon WeTrack). For example, an Admin in Elite may or may not be an Admin in Momentus Connect. This design allows for fine-grained access control to Apps.
With that in mind, I have two comments:
    1.    Expected behavior - The behavior you described is expected, provided that the user who can see the Service tab is an Admin in Momentus Connect. I logged into Momentus Connect to confirm this, which leads me to my second comment.
    2.    Possible issue - I wasnât able to find the users in Momentus Connect. This may indicate a bug. Iâve raised the question with the engineers for further investigation.
As soon as I hear from engineers, I will provide you an update.
