-
What’s the problem?
- This is a multi venue tenant.
- This inquiry was entered for the venue Netflix House Dallas.
- In the Event List, I am unable to filter to this inquiry by venue on my custom views. I created a view for Netflix House Dallas, and one for Netflix House Philadelphia. Each view pulls in all the space that could be possible for that venue as there is not a filter specifically to venue.
-
Is the issue reproducible?
- Yes
-
If reproducible, where?
- Demo
- Demo/Staging/Pitstop Account
- Demo/Staging/Pitstop Event ID 815-65-65-3170
-
Steps to reproduce the issue
- Go to event details of event noted above. Note the venue is Platform Calgary
- Go to the events list
- Create a filtered list for all days, all inquiries, and remove the Platform Calgary spaces.
- You will see the inquiry even though all of the spaces in the venue are filtered out
-
Expected behavior
- I would not expect see the inquiry listed
- I realize that the inquiry is not attached to a space but it is attached to a venue that rolls up to those spaces.
-
Troubleshooting steps already taken
- I am seeing this behavior on the event list and on the calendar.
- However the activity log is still filtering inquiries to a venue. Is this because it pulls by venue and not room?
- If I only have access to see one venue, I won't see the inquiry. But if my user can see both venues, there is not a way to separate them for their specific team's workflows.

Hey Amber Lough , I think this may be an enhancement request since technically the inquiries are entered per venue but the filters are per room. Though I think it makes complete sense that I would expect the filter to apply based on the associated venue to the rooms selected.
-
Elizabeth Fox We have a specific venue filter in the Activity Log – is this something we could look to add on the Booking Screen? (Obviously still an enhancement requestl). But I think could solve some of the multi-venue limitations we often experience throughout the system.

Hey Michelle Hannaford , not totally sure how we'll solve it - but it's possible. If we take that approach, we'd have to put it ahead of the room selection filters and then only show what's applicable there. So we may instead just make the venue at the top level of the list selectable (I think we've started that pattern in another area, if I'm not mistaken). Either way, we should sync up so you can tell me more about the multi-venue limitations you're experiencing - I'd like to understand more about that!
-
For sure! I'll put something on your calendar!

Sounds good Michelle Hannaford , thanks!
