If a user does not have the correct DocuSign permissions, they will have issues with uploading contracts from VenueOps. This specific situation was first reported in Slack in this thread.
Make sure that the user has permission to:
- Allow view and manage envelopes rights through API
- Allow send on behalf of other users through API
