The DocuSign integration can be purchased by new or existing clients. The consulting team will handle ensuring clients are set up and ready to go.
-
The DocuSign integration is included in the sales announcement email. Two things will trigger based on that email:
- A consultant is assigned. If this is part of an initial implementation, the consultant will be their implementation consultant. For existing clients, a consultant will be assigned.
- If the client is purchasing through Ungerboeck:
- Email Marie Fitzgerald and cc Shannon Terrill to provision an account for the new customer. Marie will let the consultant know when the DocuSign account is ready.
- The client will receive an activation email directly from DocuSign to set up their account. Be sure to give the client a heads up that this is coming! The email will expire, so they should take action promptly. If they don't see it, have them check their spam folder.
- The consultant will enable the DocuSign integration (see below).
- For clients who are not in their initial implementation, the consultant will reach out to the client and schedule a one hour configuration and training session. This training session should include the client-side setup which enables the return of documents. A client-facing document is available here.
- Once a consultant has successfully completed their onboarding session, they will update the tenant's root note with when the training took place and if the client is using their own envelopes or Ungerboeck envelopes.
Enable the DocuSign Integration
-
Root Access into the appropriate environment.
This must be done from the Support app. You cannot enable integrations while impersonating a user.
- On the Accounts page, search for the account and click to open its slider.
-
On the slider, click the settings gear to go to the System Admin app.
- In System Admin, go to Settings > Integrations.
-
Click the edit pencil icon by Integrations.
- Check DocuSign.
- Choose Customer Envelopes or Ungerboeck Provisioned Envelopes.
-
Click Save.
The DocuSign integration is now enabled and clients can send documents to DocuSign. In order for documents to be returned, they must create a Connect Key in their DocuSign account and add it to VenueOps. This key lets DocuSign know that VenueOps is a trusted application and it is okay to send documents there. Instructions for clients are located in Set Up the DocuSign Integration.
Be sure to see
Issues with DocuSign Permissions if you hear of users having any problems.
