The Simpleview integration creates an Elite button inside Simpleview for the CVB users. About the integration:
- The integration is based on a user which is created in Elite. The permission the CVB has via Simpleview will be based on the roles this user has.
- Inactivating the user will inactivate access for the CVB. The integration is just logging them into Elite, so if the user isn't active, they won't be able to log in.
Setup process
- The sys admin on a venue/account calls and requests the integration.
- Support asks them what access they'd like to give the CVB so we know what roles to give the user.
- Support sets up the user for the Simpleview integration:
- Name: Simpleview User
- Email: ebsimpleview+[ ACCOUNT NAME ]@gmail.com
- Note the plus (+) character
- For example: ebsimpleview+omaha@gmail.com
- Roles as requested by the venue
- Activate the user
- To get the activation email, check the ebsimpleview@gmail.com Gmail account
- It is called EB Simpleview integration GMAIL account - in LastPass in the Shared-Integrations - VOPS folder
- Go to the SimpleView page in Support Tools
- Select the appropriate Cluster and then click + ADD CLIENT. You will be prompted for the tenant Id, name, and user Id. Copy the token to the clipboard for later use. Click SAVE.
- Support sends the token to the sys admin and they send it to Simpleview for setup on their end. See example email:
