Notes
- Hospitality Ordering is in early access to existing clients ONLY. No messaging to prospects or on social media at this time. This is included in current licensing.
-
If Exhibitor Ordering is not enabled on the account:
- Existing Exhibitor price schedules will be hidden.
- In System Admin > Settings > Document Templates the Exhibitor Invoices and Exhibitor Service Orders settings will be hidden.
-
We do not allow certain domains to be used to create a user account. This is because we do NOT create users for ourselves on client accounts, instead we impersonate an existing user. Any actions we take while impersonating are logged as "System" and we can tell on our end which employee took the action. That being said, on our demo server it makes sense to allow company domains to be used in user accounts. Thus:
- Domain restrictions are now set as a server configuration rather than hard-coded into the app.
- Company email addresses will still be restricted in production environments.
- Company email addresses will not be restricted in the demo environment, allowing Solutions Engineering to configure demo accounts without giving everyone root access.
- The function calendar is NOT available for Essentials.
Config Information
Hospitality Ordering
- Hospitality Ordering must be enabled on accounts via a toggle in root (similar to exhibitor ordering, live entertainment, SSO, etc). This will be OFF on all accounts post-release.
- The Hospitality Ordering tab is controlled via event type like the exhibitor ordering and live entertainment tabs. All existing event types will be patched with this setting "null".
- Hospitality Ordering templates will be set to Insights and will not have the option to change to Handlebars.
- There is an additional system account type added for Hospitality Ordering.
