This article is not comprehensive! If you find anything else, feel free to add it to the list.
- If you run a report or dashboard while impersonated, it won't affect the run count.
- Impersonation does not affect the user's last action taken date/time.
- If you create a private custom view (list or calendar) while impersonating the owner will be "System". Since you can't log in as "System", you'll never see the private view.
- If you book an event while impersonating a pending user, the activity log will show the event as booked by "system".
- You can dismiss the broadcast message - the "seen" status of this is stored locally in your browser, so those will still pop up for the client.
- If you see a Pendo guide while impersonated, that will register as the use in Pendo, so the client will not see it.
- Recent events/accounts/contacts, last viewed custom views on calendars and lists - these are all stored in the browser, not the server, so what you do will not affect the client.
- In Jobs Fulfillment, the Edit option on Job comments will not display. The Edit option is visible based on the UserID of the user. You must be logged in as the true user to see the Edit option.
