Deleting Activity Edit Window vs. Split Screen
Description of the Issue:
When opening a Purchase Order Contract and editing is and then trying to delete an activity in its Tab it will throw an error message. When you do it via right click in the split screen/preview it will work fine.
Why is there a different behavior to it?

1.Go to Purchase Order Contracts from main menu and search for supplier -Protec Fire Detection Plc
2.Right click on the PO contract and select edit PO contract
3.Go to activity tab and select the activity and mark for delete and save this will show error as attached in latets patch
4. But if try to right click and open the activity just in split screen view and mark for delete from there it works.

Despite this being about a report those cases have in common that the desired action does not work in the edit part but outside of it.

What is the error?
Any screen shots of the workflow?
If you're performing the same exact action and one throws an error and the other doesn't, that would seem like a bug.

Here the error:
Don't have any screenshots of the workflow at the moment. Also the DB is not available on Debug atm. But it is just either being in the Edit Part or just in the Activity Tab in Split Screen. Both Actions are then the same → Mark for Delete.

When testing we did not receive the same error but only the broad “something went wrong. contact support” message.

Something went wrong is what is displayed to the end user. There should be an error written to the weblog when that happens. What's the error in the weblog when you test this locally?

I'd say create a Jira for this and send to Dev.

Tested once again on the latest 26.1 patch and there it was now working. Patching them should solve it then.
