Online Payment URL on Invoice PDF
I met with Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library yesterday about their invoices and the online payment URL. We discovered that they have to copy the URL and paste it into the Invoice Description field in order to add the URL to the Invoice - that doesn't seem very accurate or practical.
Is there something else we need to do to have that URL automatically embedded in the Invoice template to eliminate manual clicking? Or is this a limitation with the template and database to where we cannot add the link automatically? We see where the URL is on the email if you send the Invoice through Elite, but they want the clickable link on the Invoice template itself, not just in the Elite email.

Hi Michael Becker ,
This is our current practice that consultants recommend for reflecting the payment link on the URL on the invoice template. We do not have another workaround for this. We need the link in the description so the template converts it into a clickable link.

Thanks Michelle Hannaford - I'll let them know that this is the proper way to do this right now if they want that clickable link on the invoice.

Michael Becker The reason for that is the invoice online payment url isn't created until the invoice itself has been generated and then marked as available for online payment so there is no data point yet to be able to pull in at the initial template creation.

I understand, that makes sense to me, thanks Emma Whitlock!
