System Admin permissions regarding saved view
Hi Team,
After doing some testing, I am seeing different behavior than what this article says. I wasn't sure if this was something that needs updated in the article (@... ), a possible bug (Elizabeth Fox ) or simply something that is appearing different because I am impersonating (Kristi Miles ).
The article states that Note: System Admins who have Edit Shared Saved Views are able to view all shared views.
Michelle and I both tested this. In testing we see that even when a system admin user does not have any shared view permissions, they are still able to view all shared views.
Example:
- Go to demo environment
- Log in as user AmberDemo L
- This user has role of system admin + brand new view only. The view only access does not support seeing shared views. But if you go to the calendar, I can see all shared views.
Let me know if I need to repost this elsewhere but thought I would start here in case it has something to do with me impersonating.

Hi Elizabeth Fox Kristi Miles Hayley Burkhardt I wanted to check in on this thread and see if anyone had any thoughts of if this should be posted as a possible bug. This customer has been waiting about a month for an update so any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!
