New Registration/Session Proposal Product - Queries (from EMBL)
AnsweredReposting queries here on documentus as requested. Thanks.
- Will InvitePeople be part of Momentus or a third party provider? I.e. will there be an additional party we are contracting? Who will be responsible and our point of contact in case of technical issues impacting the functionality of the software?
- Regarding the timeline of the roll-out of this project, we are aware that a beta version is planned to be available for testing in June/July. How long is this beta version meant to stay open for testing and feedback and what is the envisioned date of implementation of the final version (we are aware that this may be an estimation at this point)?
- Will the beta version be set up in a way so it doesn’t affect our daily operations?
- What will the UX look like? Will we keep logging into the Momentus website with a different interface we will work with or will we be having a separate InvitePeople log in?
- We understand that data and reporting will still be kept within Momentus; is it guaranteed that we will be able to run reports combining data from before and after the switch to InvitePeople’s registration and session proposal modules in the same report?
-
What will happen to our customized reports (both documents and on screen), such as the abstract book report, as well as integrations (Engagez, LinkedIn, payment portal)?
-
Will there be a change in pricing?

- Invite People is a 3rd party company. We are doing a white label integration with them. All contracting will still be done via Momentus, the customer will not need to contact IP to update their contract for this integration. For support Momenuts will be their point of contact. We will be responsible for Teir 1 support, our teams will reach out to IP for any issues we cannot directly fix.

- There is no real ‘beta’ it will be a User Acceptance Testing period. The UAT is planned to begin on May 11th and will run through the end of Q2. This UAT testing will be on demo environments only there will not be any live environments to test on. We will then go into a limited availability at the end of Q2 where clients can sign up to be a part of the live product.
- Will the beta version be set up in a way so it doesn’t affect our daily operations?
- Yes, as this will all be on a demo environment it will not effect any live events.
- What will the UX look like? Will we keep logging into the Momentus website with a different interface we will work with or will we be having a separate InvitePeople log in?
- They will access it via Momentus and a new tab will open. It will open up to the IP system, but will be white labeled Momentus.

- For the MVP not all data will sync back to Momentus. We will sync back orders/residents and critical data. Things like UDF will not be synced back as part of the MVP. IP does have their own reporting so they can supplement with their reporting as needed for now.
- What will happen to our customized reports (both documents and on screen), such as the abstract book report, as well as integrations (Engagez, LinkedIn, payment portal)?
- If those reports use the standard data we sync back there should not be any issues. If there is data that is not being synced back that the report needs they will not work as intended. We do plan to enhance the data we are syncing back over time, but may not be available at launch.
- Will there be a change in pricing?
- Yes, this will be on its own SKW and will have its own price. Price is still being finalized with IP.

Ella Fancett as i am reviewing this, a lot of these questions we'll be working out as we get closer to the launch of the new registration product.
However expecting that Tragen Herrick will need to answer these questions eventually. He just may not have the answers right now.

Tragen Herrick Thanks for your comments! I'll pass this onto EMBL for their information.
