AP Automation - More than one book

Hi team,

I have a customer that has two venues, but use the same ORG and finance team to manage those. They have recently signed up for the new packaging including AP Automation and they are asking how the solution would work for a business with more than one venue. Ideally all managed through the same inbox. So how would these invoices be separated? See below some details:

Regarding AP automation, purchase orders have the Book Control field that reflects each venue. We would like to see and understand the workflow for processing this which will highlight the cases we have open (or have been closed because DEV has not said they would procced to update):

• Book Control: Add Voucher Screen (378531)
• Add Voucher Batch (378532)

Essentially I would like a proof of concept that shows the process for customer that have more than one book; from annotation through to voucher processing before we commit resources to implement.

  I think at the current time - the book control would need to be selected for each voucher.  The question would be - is there a field that exists on the supplier or a purchase order that would allow us to map the voucher to an appropriate book control in a majority of cases.  While this isn't present today, I would be willing to improve that process in that manner.
  
  Otherwise - we'll have to look into if we added the book control field to the AI engine, would it eventually recognize to map something on the invoice to that book control.

  So, at present, the user would need to select the book control manually, correct?

  Adriana mentions above the PO has the Book Control field that reflects each venue. Could this be used as an identifier for the invoice to be separated into the right venue?

  I think they want to know how it CAN work - how do we propose a way forward?
