@... is there a specific forum for Odata API questions?

  • Linda Moyer

There is not. Odata is Enterprise specific, so could those questions just go where Enterprise API questions go now?

That being said, if those who answer API questions would like a separate API forum so they can narrow their notifications to just those, I can create one. We're just having some page layout issues on Zendesk due to all the Connect forums I've created and I'm waiting on Craig for a fix.

That being said, Amy Durbin the OData API docs are available if you or the client would like to take a look at what is available for Reg: https://connect.gomomentus.com/api-documentation#overview--odata

    Thanks Linda!

Amy, does that link from Linda answer?

  • Amy Durbin

Seth Halvaksz and @...  I've sent that link to the customer already and we aren't seeing Capacity.  I'd like to have an SME either point us in the right direction, or confirm that it is not available.  If it isn't available now, is it being considered? Do I need to put this question in a different forum?  Where are API questions captured currently?

Amy, i'll tag Victor Nogales Junior on your question.

Victor - is registration capacity available in Odata?

  • Victor Nogales Junior

Seth Halvaksz, is registration capacity an attribute of the Events entity? If so, I’m not seeing it in either the V1 or OData Events endpoints. Thanks!

Victor Nogales Junior i think this is the registration capacity field.

You can get to it in Registration Setup

  • Amy Durbin

Seth Halvaksz  Victor Nogales Junior  - Yes, that's the capacity for the overall event if the customer needs one.  There are also Registrant Type capacities, Function capacities, and Item capacities as well as waitlist capacities.  Screen shots below.

Additional context.  Cleveland Clinic is looking for these capacities to be available in the API for reporting to stakeholders with a power BI.  NIHF is looking for these to be available in the API so they can extract data that way and move away from Database replication.

Hi Victor Nogales Junior and Seth Halvaksz  - Curious if there is any update here.  If these capacity end points aren't available, I just need confirmation so I can tell the customer.  It would also be nice to know if they are being considered for future enhancement.

    Thanks

Hi Seth Halvaksz , Amy Durbin , I reviewed the Enterprise API specifications and could not find ER103_MAX_QTY. In fact, the corresponding table ER103_RES_MINMAX is not currently exposed via the API either.

Based on this, it appears this would need to be submitted as an enhancement request.
