How to save a payment method on an order?

According to this article the field to check when adding a default payment type for an order is called “Set this as the order default Charge Card”

The Venetian is trying to use this functionality but they don't see this field in their layout.  All they have is “use Default Order Payment”.  Is this the correct check box? She has no other options to add to their layout.   Marley Kezerian @...

  Amy Durbin That field is only visible when a credit card transaction type is chosen.
