- Where was the issue observed? EU
- Account Name One Events
- Account ID - account-466-A
-

- Unknown
- Date Converted (if known)
-
Issue Scope
- How widespread is the issue? Â All users
- Event Name - 241159 - Barclays Alumni Event
- Event ID - 20706-A
-
Was the issue reported by the client?
- Yes
- Client Contact Name Dreah Hastie
- Client Contact Email dreah@one-events.co.uk
-
Whatâs the problem?
- Creating an Inquiry record with multiple dates selected is treating the earliest date as the start date and latest date selected as the end date. This causes all dates to appear as options on the booking when going to convert the Inquiry record to an Event record.

Is the issue reproducible?
- YesÂ
-
If reproducible, where?
- DemoÂ
- Demo Account - S - Emma W - Demo, account-1251-A
- Event ID - event-14551-A
-
Steps to reproduce the issue
- Select any date on the calendar > create event button
- Change âCreateâ from âEventâ to âInquiryâ
- Enter a test name, account, contact, event type, business classification, and venue (any selection/name/record will produce the same results)
- Select the â+ DATESâ chip at the bottom right of the slider
- Select that same day of the week at least 1 more time (client is selecting 4, but same results regardless)
- Ok > Save
- Open the Inquiry you just created and see the date chip is showing the earliest date picked as the start date and last date picked as the end date
- Go to âBookingâ tab > ADD BOOKED SPACES
- See all days in a range are selected vs just the individual days that were selected
-
Expected behavior
- Only selected days to appear when going to ADD BOOKED SPACES to an Inquiry
-
Troubleshooting steps already taken
- Tried doing different number of days with same results
- tried booking as a blackout and did not have this issue
- tried booking as a prospect and did not have this issue
-
Workaround identified?
- Yes
- Delete the additional dates added to book the space

Hi Luke! This is the expected behavior for inquiries - they are a completely different âthingâ in the database from events (prospect and up) and only have a start and end date range. I do agree that it is confusing to allow users to select individual dates and then they are not stored! I'll flag this for an update in the knowledge base to make sure this behavior is clear.
If they are doing this to save multiple possible dates for a single event, they'll need to either use multiple inquiries or bump up to using prospects. Prospects do not trigger the conflict checker so they won't interfere with booking, fwiw.Â
