Adding a field into the Events screen from opportunity
AnsweredDescription of the issue: Client wants a field on the general Tab of event window which is to pick up from the Event forms (Opportunities) whether a Road Closure is required or not – Y/N
Business impact: Minimal, but would be helpful to have this information in a quick view so that we can see which events require traffic management and which don't at a glance.

Mike Schepker Let me know if you have any suggestion on how to achieve this

It looks like they added a back office custom field. Back office custom fields can't be used in public applications.
How are they collecting this information? What “form” are they using? I don't understand what they are actually trying to accomplish here.
Are they wanting a field on Event Opportunities to automatically populate a completely separate field on the event?

Mike Schepker Client wants to add the below road closure information as a field on the edit event general page to which the opportunity has been converted as an event.

Divya Thakur Sorry, I was out of the office on PTO.
I don't think this is possible. Event Opportunities and Events are two different things and they each can have different sets of UDFs. This would need to be an enhancement or a tech services project to sync data from one field to another.
This article explains what data is copied to the event when creating from an Event Opportunity. https://supportcenter.ungerboeck.com/hc/en-us/articles/216984787-Add-and-Manage-Event-Opportunities#h_01JQSQYPVDKYZWV8CPG0WNASEY
