Email template additional fields

1. General
Business impact if not resolved: This is crucial for the orders coming through ESC.
Short Summary of issue: For orders coming through ESC, client has an email template to be sent to their teams. However, they need the exhibitor or booth name. but even if they have added this field on ESC however, they are not able to add this field in the email template.

4. Recreation Steps:
 
Preconditions/assumptions: 
 
1. Go to email and merge templates from main menu 
2. Right click on ESC Order Request Acknowledgement email template and edit
3.Go to insert field option in header tab and we could see that exhibitor or booth name is not available 
...
Expected behavior/outcome: Client want to add exhibitor or booth name to the insert field options

  Hi Pushkar Barve 

  I assume they are using a Email Template in the Subject Service Orders? What I would test and suggest is to create a template with subject Exhibitors first (the Banner Name is available here) and add this new Template in the original Template by using this:

  

  Which means you have a template in a template. I did not had the chance to test this myself, so please give it a try first before providing this solution to the customer.

  Minka Verkaar I tried this but booth name field is not available in the new template.

  Mike Schepker Could you please check this once and also client asked that Do you have an editable field to be entered in ESC that can be used to indicate ‘Space’?

  It is called Banner Name: 

  

  Did you have tested with this field? And add this template in the Service Order Template would be the best shot.

  Divya Thakur What are they trying to accomplish with the field? You can have UDFs on items, but I don't know if that would work for what they are wanting.
