    Inventory Item Imports:

1.) Only works for inventory items - NOT resources and resource types
2.) Duplicates cannot be in the file AND items in the file cannot exist within Enterprise already.  If either are true - the entire file will be kicked out in error.  It does not override or replace.

Jillian, i would recommend to tag some of your colleagues on this post!

Appreciate your timely note, Seth, but I've already exhausted the avenues I thought may know, hence my post here. Who would you recommend? I'm happy to reach out.

Seth Halvaksz With this being a brand new feature, I don't think we have the knowledge and experience in the Customer Org to answer this. New features will often prompt these type of detailed questions that I didn't think of during the documentation process, so this is a great opportunity to capture this information.

Not sure if Rob Rebman has dealt with detailed customer questions on this yet or not?

For the first question Jillian Stangret are they asking if they can import resources? My understanding is that this import is inventory items only. I would think that this would then create the associated resources, but confirmation from the product team would be good to have.

@... I have not dealt with any of these questions yet.  I can't wait to hear the answers though.

I'm tagging both Ryan Ungerboeck and @...  to respond to this post.

We have “Smart Imports: Resources” on the H2 roadmap.

I've added Ryan's note about duplicates to the article: https://supportcenter.ungerboeck.com/hc/en-us/articles/33372003351703-Import-Inventory-Items-and-Inventory-Transactions
