Best Practice for Detailed Room Flow Counts in Event Opportunities

I have a customer who has this business workflow.  We need to know the best way to manage it in Event Opportunities:

Initially when the Event Opportunity is created, there are room nights per day that are entered in the Flow tab.  Then the Distribution is created with various hotel partners throughout the city and the hotel partners will respond to the Bulletin letting the CVB know how many room nights thoughout the Housing Dates that particular hotel will commit to blocking for the group.  

Once the hotel partners have been chosen, those are flipped to “Accepted” in the Distribution tab.  From there, the flow details are managed per hotel for Blocked and Pickup. 

The problem is, is that there is not a “one source of truth” window to see the overall requested room nights over the housing dates PLUS the rolled up room nights that were blocked and subsequently picked up (entered after the event).

Could someone please provide to me the updated workflow for tracking detailed rooms requested, blocked, and picked up?

    Barbara Key - any idea how the new room flow works now that we have the advanced and basic versions?  Will it support the above workflow?

    I have had some exposure, not as much as Tony I think, but this seems a bit different than the usage ive run through so not entirely sure how that above workflow would be supported.

    The Event Oppty's Guest Room Flow section (may need to update your layout) should contain the information you're looking for, right?

    Tony, I believe this is the ticket where we're tracking this now.  In this ticket the expectation is that the Flow tab updates automatically based on data entered on the Distribution tab.  I see you're suggesting to use Guest Room Flow. Let me add you to the teams chat so we can get aligned on the right approach here.
