Hi team,
Jens has flagged this issue, and although it is reproducible, we would like to understand if this is a bug or if the system just uses a different coding system? As there isn't anything in the KB, the source used was this website: https://altcodeunicode.com/alt-codes-for-hungarian-letters-with-accents-or-diacritics/
If this is working as expected, could you please provide us with the steps on how to add these special characters?
Many thanks!

Asking Mike Schepker to review

You used to have to convert the database to unicode in order to use/display unicode characters. Sara Noonan is that still a thing? If so, who do they need to reach out to?
-
Mike Schepker I am pretty sure it is - Josiane Mikhael have you seen this? Is it just a SRE ticket to convert to unicode?
-
Luiza Thummerer - this sounds like it may be related to this Jira https://ungerboeck.atlassian.net/browse/ME-6114

Hi Cathy Herrick Josi informed me that DB is already unicode, so I linked the Jira to the ticket, but I can see now that the Jira is blocked. I had a look on both your ticket and Pushkar's but I can't see any new updates to the ticket after Eric's comment on re-running the update due to unicode failure.
As I'm a bit confused on the next steps, is anyone aware if the re-run has actually fixed the issue?
-
Luiza Thummerer - as far as I can tell from the Jira notes on https://ungerboeck.atlassian.net/browse/ME-6114 there seems to have been an issue with the unicode conversion, so its possible this happened for your client as well. On July 3rd it looks like Eric and Ankit had performed a test and were reviewing logs.
