Activity Checklist Recipient wildcard preserved

I thought I'd post here to get some discussion on this rather than jump to posting a Pendo enhancement.

Scenario: 

I am working with a customer on Activity Checklists to help ensure tasks are completed for the different stages during an event's lifecycle and for this to be added at the time of event creation. However we have run into the dilemma with checklists where the recipients are assigned using the wildcards e.g. Primary Event Coordinator.

Pain Point:

When wildcards are used as recipients e.g. Primary Event Coordinator, there needs to be a personnel assigned for these roles, otherwise the activity task cannot be added due to this being blank and errors. 

As some of these roles are not assigned until closer to the event date, this restricts Activity Checklists from only being used when these fields are assigned closer to the event which might be missed.

Ask/Discussion:

1. Could we look at preserving wildcards for activities so that it follows the personnel assigned when available e.g. the activity still gets added and if the Primary Event Coordinator is yet to be assigned, the activity remains as the wildcard “Primary Event Coordinator”. If one is assigned, it replaces with the personnel assigned.

2. Should the wildcard just remains in the backend but on the front end is displayed with the personnel assigned for the role in the activity. If this can happen, then what this could mean is that if the personnel originally assigned for the event leaves or the company needs to reassign the primary event coordinator to a new staff member, it will automatically switch to the new person rather than wait for manually updating the open activities. It could then also mean that Activity Checklists can be added to Event Profiles templates.
