    Hi Lauren Nathan

Yes, you can configure the Momentus Outlook Integration to map only conference rooms by selectively choosing which spaces to include in the space mapping. The integration does require Exchange administrator permissions to access resource calendars but does not need to access individual user mailboxes for core functionality.

    Recommendations

    1.  For conference room-only configuration: Use the space mapping screen to selectively choose only conference rooms from your Momentus spaces, ignoring other venue spaces. During setup, click "Manage Spaces" and select only the conference rooms you want to include.

    2. For optimal conference room setup: Configure these spaces as "Momentus Managed" with "Allow Reservations" enabled, which is specifically noted as being "used for spaces which are not revenue generating, such as meeting rooms."

    3. For minimal mailbox access: If you want to minimize mailbox interactions, configure the auto-created Outlook events to be placed directly in the resource calendar rather than in the event creator's calendar. This way, the integration won't need to interact with individual user mailboxes.

    4. For resource calendars: Ensure your Outlook resource calendars for conference rooms are properly set up in Exchange before attempting integration. The documentation notes that these resources need to be created several hours before mapping them in the integration.
