Inactive Purchase Order Contracts

Hi Team,

I am updating the PO Contracts KB article, and I have noticed that unticking the active field on the Add/Edit PO Contract window does not seem to remove the PO Contract from the selectable list in Add/Edit Purchase Order window's PO Contract field.

A couple of questions:

1. Is inactivating a PO Contract supposed to disable it from being linked to a PO?

2. If not, what is the is the active field useful for, other than filtering in the PO Contracts window?

I am mostly just looking for a circumstance where you might inactivate a PO Contract, so I can justify including instructions to do so in the KB article.

    Ryan Ungerboeck - can you please have a quick check of this when you have a sec?

    It is not our intent to show inactive PO Contracts on the purchase order selection.  This filter was removed in error when we converted the displayed data to include the reference and more user friendly information.

    Please submit a ticket back to only display an inactive contract IF the contract was already / previously assigned to the PO.

    Hi Ryan,

    Thanks for that. I had entered a zendesk ticket, and support should be sending that through to you via Jira soon. For now, I have commented out that functionality from the article. Once it's fixed, I will add them back in.
