Momentus Connect has both product and sandbox (non-production) environments in each global region: AMER, CAN, EMEA, APAC. Customer production and non-production environments must map to the corresponding Momentus Connect Environments.
Enterprise production environments map to the Connect Production environment for their region. All other environments are considered non-production and should map to the Connect Sandbox for their region. It is critical that customers are mapped to their correct region; some organizations have strict policies around where their data is housed.
To confirm which Connect an environment an Enterprise database is mapped to, go to the Site Config and check the Momentus Connect URL field. A script was run by the DevOps team on August 11, 2025 to align all Enterprise environments with the recommended Connect environment, so this is not a configuration that you should have to update.
If a non-production environment points to a production environment, access will be blocked. You will receive an Access Denied error message telling you that there is a configuration issue. This will most likely happen when a production database is copied to a test environment. If a customer must access Connect Sandbox for testing purposes, update the test environment Site Config with the Sandbox URL. All Prod and Sandbox URLs are available on the Momentus Connect Environments Confluence page in the Production and Sandbox section; expand the URL table.
In Elite, this is all handled at the code level and no configuration is needed.
