It is important to understand how customers, tenants, and users are structured in Momentus Connect.
- Customer: A customer is the contracting account in Salesforce. Each customer must be mapped to a Salesforce account using the 15-digit account ID. This mapping is critical for the Connect purchase workflow and paves the way for personalizing Connect for customers in the future.
- User: Each person who accesses Connect. Users are owned by the customer and are given access to one or more tenants owned by that customer.
- Tenant: A tenant is the customer's entity in one of our applications: an Enterprise organization or an Elite tenant. Many customers only have one tenant, but they can have more than one.
- Apps: The integrations or applications accessed via Momentus Connect, including the Outlook Calendar Integration, OneView, and more. App subscriptions are specific to a tenant. This allows each tenant (such as each Enterprise org) to have their own configuration.
