Configuring a View-Only Role

They created a role from scratch, but it's either too restrictive (the user assigned to this role would not even able to log in) or not effective at all (the user can edit events and other elements) - Links to articles where you've looked for solutions and also other steps you've taken to research the issue:
In the community I found this thread in which a dedicated article is mentioned. But apparently that page is not available any longer.

Francesco Torchia I feel that this request will need to go to a consultant. The team may have some sort of framework or documentation of what needs to be built. This also requires specialised knowledge as it requires careful planning around restrictions and access privileges. We don't want the customer to lock everyone out of actions in the system. It is recommended that any configuration be done in TEST before deploying it to PROD.
