"Promo code" displayed on page title
- Description of the issue: Page title displaying “Promo Code” close to the event name
- Account name: IET
- Region: EMEA
- Client version: 26.1
-
Steps to reproduce:
- Go to Events and search for Event ID 17586
- Go to Actions > Tools > Registration > Registration Setup
- Go to Registration Form Setup and right-click to edit “20% VAT - Standard Registration”
- Click on the "Web Address" to access the Registration Form and notice that the title of the page displays as "Promo Code - Event Name" instead of "Event Name" only:
- Observed results vs Expected results: The Page title should display the Event Name only
- What is the job the client is trying to accomplish:
They want to add a promo code to the registration configuration, but they don't want to see “Promo code” on the page title - Business impact if not resolved: Inconveniences not impacting daily work

I tried to edit the Form Template and checked all pages and components. None of them refer to the Promo page.
Going back to the "Edit Registration Configuration", I have unchecked the “Show promo code on initial page” checkbox → The page title looks fine, but the promo code is not included in the registration procedure:

This is working as expected. It's displaying Promo Code at the top because they are choosing to display the promo code at the beginning of the reg process. That's just a byproduct of that workflow. They may be able to remove that phrase via the dictionary, I'm not sure.
If they uncheck that box, the place they enter the promo code is on the check out page.

Thanks Mike Schepker ! I will inform the customer.
