Deleting contacts & accounts in Elite
What is our recommendation for the requirement of being able to DELETE contacts and accounts from Elite? I am aware that we can deactivate them. But what if (in the context of GDPR) the contact must be deleted from Elite, not just deactivated?
What do we suggest our customers to do?

Hi Stefanie Koffler and @... , there is not a way for automatic deletion for accounts and contacts in Elite. They can use tags to flag accounts and contacts for GDPR needs (such as for opt-out of communications, etc.) see this article. However, to delete the data, the customer would have to submit a request which would need to go through our SRE team to do the deletion or anonymization, though I'm not sure how that's requested or executed today (Kristi Miles , does your team get these requests today?). We are looking at ways to address this in Elite, likely sometime in 2H 2026 / 1H 2027.

As far as I'm aware, we've not had a request for this before now. Until we can address it in the product, I agree that this should come to Support in the form of a Zendesk ticket that would then go to SRE for clearing out.

Thanks Kristi Miles ! We are aiming to make the GDPR process something that Support won't have to manage so granularly, but I'll involve you in those discussions.
