DocuSign Integration in Elite

Hi, Elizabeth Fox , Amber Lough We’ve received a question from Jio World (existing customer) regarding the native DocuSign integration/connector in Elite.

They are asking whether the integration supports routing documents to a DocuSign Electronic Seal (eSeal) for automated, server-side signing.

My understanding is that eSeal is a separate DocuSign capability, where a certificate-based organisational signature is applied automatically rather than requiring an individual signer.

Do you know if this is something the Elite integration currently supports, or whether it is something that may be supported in the future?

  Hi Afreen Ashfak  This is not something I have heard of within our DocuSign integration specifically. The fields that we have in Elite that push directly to DocuSign are the client name, subject/document name, and document itself. However, it appears this is something that can be set up within the customer's DocuSign account. I am unable to test this but based on how other features behave (ie templates) if they set these up in their DocuSign account we can use them in conjunction with our integration. Elizabeth Fox do you know if we still have a POC with DocuSign to validate behavior?

  Thanks Amber Lough I’ll share this interim response with the customer for now.

  In the meantime, could you please confirm whether this can be tested? It would be great to have a definitive answer once that’s been validated.

  Hi Afreen Ashfak  From what I am seeing on the DocuSign support site, it appears that an electronic seal must be added by a DocuSign admin. We only use “developer” or test accounts for our training and testing purposes, so it's more limited and it's not something I can personally check. We used to have a internal partner who was the direct contact with DocuSign, but I am not sure who that person is currently. I think we would need this to be confirmed on the DocuSign side.

  Hello!  From what we can tell, this would not be supported today.  It also seems from what I can find on DocuSign that the scope/use cases for using eSeal is pretty limited, and we'd be unlikely to make an enhancement for this unless we had many customers with high need for it.
