Direct URLs to specific records
AnsweredHello team,
GL events is asking about the possibility of creating direct URLs to open specific records in Momentus Enterprise.
- Example:
-
...#/accounts/00000067?data=961e7f1ff281cf44d7fa55ff2ebdce32857d→ shows the full record of an account.
-
They would like to know:
- Is the
?data=...parameter stable and officially supported for deep links? - Is there (or will there be) an official way to build links using business identifiers in plain text (e.g., exhibitor code + organization code) to open records directly?
-
I clarified with engineering that the ?data parameter is unique to the user, and should not be used in a bookmark.
For links to an account record, use the /accounts/<number> such as this example:
https://qe.ungerboeck.com/main/app85.cshtml#/accounts/00164219
-
Thanks Seth, that helps !

Seth Halvaksz One follow-up question from GL events: would it be possible to add organization information in the link as well so that the URL is pointing directly to the right org ? The customer is using multi-org.
I tried adjusting the URL but it doesn't seem to work.
Let me know if I should enter this as an enhancement request.
-
What is their URL? Is it the same URL for both orgs?
-
Hello Seth, I managed to make it work by adding “OrgCode=” in the URL.
Exemple:
https://glevents-venues.ungerboeck.net/PROD/app85.cshtml?OrgCode=32#/accounts/00009770
https://glevents-venues.ungerboeck.net/PROD/app85.cshtml?OrgCode=51#/accounts/00011531
-
Great. Thanks for testing it.
