Failing Docu Sign Configuration due to SSO
Refer to SupportHi Product Team,
we have just wrapped up a session with Red Bull regarding their DocuSign configuration. We encountered an issue at the stage where user consent is required within their DocuSign configuration.

When clicking on “Provide Consent” the DocuSign pop-up appeared as expected. Instead of the SSO login process, the user was prompted to manually enter their email and password. However, they do not have a password to login with.
We attempted to reset the password, but unfortunately, the password was not accepted. Also, we did not find a way to change the pop-up or adjust the login window.
Environment: https://redbullring.ungerboeck.net/TEST/app85.cshtml

In the support center the article for the docusign config says, that “In the Sign-In security section of the docu sign user, verify the Two-Step Verification is turned off.”
But how to connect DocuSign with Momentus Enterprise, if the customer is not allowed to turn the SSO off?

Dorian Büdel did you ask customer support?
-
Hi Seth,
no we didn't involved support yet. Should we?
-
Yes please route this question through customer support first since you're reporting an error.
Please add a note here after you talk to them.

Seth Halvaksz - for background - DocuSign requires a consent process which necessitates the Admin to provide their credentials on the Electronic Signature Configuration and also requires users to provide consent when they send their first envelope (it renews itself if they send envelopes at least once every 30 days).
I have not seen a customer who used SSO for DocuSign attempt this consent process before - all the setups I did when Docusign's new consent requirement was introduced used email/password login combos. In my below screenshots you can see what it looks like. I believe that the redirect to DocuSign's sign in uses the site Base URL + URI assigned on DocuSign to match up what DocuSign customer to what Enterprise instance.
My assumption is that this process was not built with SSO for DocuSign in mind and that it would be an enhancement to incorporate SSO. However if this was something able to be configured I would assume it would have something to do with the Momentus DocuSign config where we create the Prod URIs for our customers? I think Richard Marmura or Dustin Banks would be able to confirm if SSO is possible with current functionality or not.

Cathy Herrick i agree this sounds like an enhancement to support SSO for DocuSign.
@... can you confirm

Dorian Büdel This needs to be investigated by dev. Please submit to support as a bug.
From Dustin Banks: “It looks like this needs to be investigated. We open DocuSign to authenticate. If docusign is requiring username and password when the user uses SSO, that first thought says docusign has a bug but its something that should investigated by dev first.”
