New Standard Report Functionality Questions
AnsweredI have a customer who’s really excited about the new standard reports! They've been digging into them and are eager to start using these reports more, but a few questions have come up as they try to make sense of the data being displayed.
1. Pace Report: They’ve shared a screenshot showing their filtering criteria alongside the revenue values they’re seeing. The revenue shown in the report looks much higher than what’s reflected in the system for that same timeframe, and they’re not sure why that discrepancy exists. They also noticed that tentative revenue is showing as all zero in the report, even though they have confirmed tentative events entered for 2025-2027. They’re wondering - how are the revenue figures in the report calculated, and could something in their setup be causing this mismatch? Is it possible they’re missing a setting, or does this sound like something that might warrant a bug ticket?

2. Space Utilization Report: They’re trying to understand how occupancy is calculated and what the difference is between each group of highlighted columns in their screenshot below. Is there anything we can provide to explain how this report breaks down utilization?

3. Account History Report: They’ve flagged a few numbers that they’re not sure how the system is generating. They’re asking where those numbers are pulling from so they can make sure they’re entering data into the correct fields going forward. Is there any documentation or a technical spec available for this report (or for all three) that we could pass along to help them better understand what’s happening behind the scenes?

Question 1 - It appears the customer is comparing to a custom field. Is this correct? If so we need more information on how they are getting their number.
Question 2 - these are the number of days booked and are calculated from the date range of the booking dates between the selected date range for all bookings in each space. The technical fields they are looking for are each of the booked dates in the EV803 (will find better description later) for a space with in the range they selected.
Question 3 - We designed this report knowing that some users will NOT enter information into the estimated column (as it is optional). We could expand this to include more fields should the estimated column not be used, but we need additional sales quote information.
