Reporting Naming Schemes get deleted automatically

Description of the Issue:
Client reports that the Report Naming Schemes are getting just deleted after a while.
As we could not figure out what triggers this we tried to set the naming schemes up again and patched the DB on Debug but they stayed in place.
What is also to note is that you will be able/get suggestions for Report Naming Scheme when in “Edit Report List” but not when in “Edit Report Master”.
Is there maybe some information I'm missing here?

No, not at will. We were trying to patch and see if that deletes it but it did not.
I had a call with the client recently and we agreed to monitor and see if/when it happens again and then gather as much info as possible about what was going on around it.
The only open question the client and also I have is why there are two ways to set a Naming Scheme. For once you can do it via Report List but then it won't show in the Report when you select it via the Master. Due to that we were wondering if the setup via Report List is correct or if it needs to be done via Report Master.
The KB Article did not mention these options specifically. -

“There are 3 ways to set the naming scheme. A the report level, most restrictive, does not allow subject wildcards. Its directly on the report master. Then there is the report list. That will be applied to all reports on the report list. Then there is the report+report list combination. So if you have one at the report+report list (assigned from the report list grid in the report master), that will override the report master specific and the report list specific.”
“The screenshots in the ticket refer to the report master config and the report master/report list config.”

I have flagged this for when we work on the Reports section in the reno project - I want us to go through that doc, including the ways to add naming schemes.
