Custom field "Co-issuer" keeps resetting/unchecking
AnsweredDescription of the issue:
The user-defined field "Co-exhibitor" is sometimes deactivated i.e gets unchecked again after a certain time after activation. There is no "rule" to recognize for which exhibitors the indicator is reset and for which not. This means that hall planning is currently not possible, as the wrong number of required stands/exhibitors is always displayed.
How the field is created.
Denise Kopf created is a user field validation table check box field: "Mitaussteller_NEU" - STANDARD VALUE No (2= Nein), Code 0
expecting that the new participant/ exhibitor coming via the interface should have automatically this standard value ) - Mitaussteller_NEU = Default to No (Nein, Checkbox)

Not sure, if she would need the user field in addition to the user field validation table entry (?), she showed me, that there is no automatic functionality any more, claiming this used to be there!
They filter the "co-exhibitors" with Mitaussteller = Yes (now Mitaussteller_NEU = Yes) to mark the others as "No" (work around, can edit multiple)
But she said, that the new exibitors coming via the PISA interface would have been assigned to the the default standard = Mitaussteller "=No. (?)

Region: EMEA
Database: Markant_PROD_0390812319_USI
Client version: 25.120252105
Steps to reproduce:
- Create and new exhibitor and mark the field Mitaussteller is marked to be always checked from validation table.
- Hold on for few days and the field gets unchecked which always gets unchecked.
NOTE : is there any chance that interfaces are unchecking it ? any background job creates this issue?
Expected behavior/outcome: The field Mitaussteller is created such that this field is always marked to be checked however found to be unchecked.
Business impact if not resolved: The field is essential for the floor plan, which otherwise cannot be made.

Seth Halvaksz Hi Dev team,
The above screenshots stem from my Customer Success Status-Meeting where customer has #escalated it for the second time, As they cannot do hall and floor planning without this process. May I ask you please to please look at this soonest?
Max Fankidejski was their Professional consultant at the time.
I read that you had asked for a recording. Have you received it from support?

Hello Ina Beate Ziegler , I had a call on Friday however the customer was not able to reproduce or show any added information. This issue cannot be reproduced at present. Denise just showed me that these fields go unchecked. I don't have any latest information to reproduce this issue.
We have just one clue that wherever exhibitor value is more than zero the checkbox should be checked however most of them are unchecked.

Closing this post since it cannot be reproduced

Seth Halvaksz Hi, Can we follow-up on this, please? Team / Pushkar Barve told me, that there might be a chance that interfaces are affecting those checkboxes. Since it was our Professional Services team (Maximilian Fankidejski ) who originally implemented the solution, there must be something that has changed with the new UX. Customer has escalated it because the deadline for the exhibitor registration ends tomorrow.

Ina Beate Ziegler as discussed in teams, we need steps-to-reproduce the issue in order to do anything on this.
It sounds like this customer should work with a consultant.

Could we please double-check that this isn’t connected to their Exhibitor interface, especially the part that updates Exhibitor Data? The Exhibitor Record was updated two days ago by the user “Markant_USIAPI (MARKANT_US)” -
Maximilian Fankidejski - Thank you, I have asked Pushkar Barve to please check this.
Max could you please review this new linked ticket, where she has tested the workaround with a new field, and she told me you have been the one who has set it up originally: Can you confirm, this is a consulting ticket (billable time?).
#358250 - High Customer Impact: NO Exhibition Floor hall planning currently possible. Checkbox field "Mitaussteller_NEU" is not filled with "No" as a standard. This was meant as the workaround for #355888 . -

After Teams chat with Manuel Wagenbach, I have informed the customer key contacts, Denise and Annette, via email:Manuel Wagenbach has verified that the API behavior seems to have changed (with the Upgrade) - previously the UDF's - User defined fields were also provided with a search.
This is NO LONGER the case, so their custom PISA-integration has always updated the UDF's with the default values.
Manuel has fixed three of the issues of the “PISA interface” today. We installed the integrated version on the TEST database where the issues should be resolved and are ready to test by the customer.I informed the customer per email and asked them to test, while Manuel asked support reps via Teams to respond to the customer via the tickets asking them to test the individual cases on their updated TEST database. (As of 14:00 today).
