Import Bookings

Account name - Tauranga City Council (TCC)

Client version (Enterprise) - 25.1
Description of the issue
- Tauranga City Council do have lots of high volume bookings and are keen to understand if it is possible to import bookings. TCC being a council space, they do control lot of outside city spaces such as sporting fields which are used for different purposes in each season. Example - In Winter, use it for Football and In summer, use it for Cricket. As a council, they host number of matches for schools, groups and kids. This information is shared to them as per attached file which they have to enter one by one, line by line in enterprise which is immensely time consuming and error prone.
- Is it possible to import bookings or Do we plan to support import bookings process in long run (I'm checking further on some business rules such as frequency of these bookings, along specifics of how they use, so can share more once available)
What you've already tried or suggested. Why does this not work?
- I have informed that “Import Bookings” feature does not exist as a part of core enterprise platform.
- I have connected with our Technical team to check if a custom solution is a possibility. I'm unsure if this would be best path since the import process will need to handle exceptions such as conflict check, CRM entry validation, etc
Business impact if not resolved - Inefficient and error prone booking process.

Hi Himanshu , just want to let you know that we have build a full Data Migration Tool for Enterprise for DWTC (Dubai World Trade Centre) which is based on the experiences with Disney and this includes also Bookings. I would say we can re-use this tool. Just reach out if you want to know more about this functionality to see if it could work for your customer too.
