Thanks for the screenshot. I have no idea how this is populated, but i'll research and find out.

Seth Halvaksz - Checking with folks familiar with the “About” section now, will let you and Barbara Key know what I find out.

Sharing details provided by Craig D.:

"Based on what I can tell, I believe that's the old way of displaying licensed users.   There was a time where there was one field that basically said 'this is how many users you get'.  It may have been concurrent users as opposed to named users, but it was one number.  That's where 300 is likely coming from.  At some point, they transitioned to a new model (read further)...

OCCC is on the 'SaaS' licensing model which splits out users into user 'types':  Express, Standard, and/or Professional.  OCCC is licensed for 170 express users and 150 professional users (total:  320).

I don't believe we show those numbers any where in the system.  If you run up against the limit,  you'll get blocked when trying to assign a user to an 'Express' user or a 'Professional' user.

Here's the licensing info in myUSI for them (which is the source of truth for licensing).  This looks to be in effect on their production site.  So, I think its likely we're either hiding or not showing the number of express/pro users in the software, but they are truly there and will be enforced.

Also, here's a breakout of their users in their prod database, so they're well within their limits right now:

Thanks @... It sounds like we should remove that field on number of licenses, or have it update to the correct source (MyUSI).

Barbara Key does that answer your question.

Flagging this for addition to the KB, somewhere. I can see this being a point of anxiety for clients so clarifying would be good. I'll say it's a legacy field that will be removed in the future, talk to your main Momentus contact for actual numbers, and then put the info above from Craig into a Documentus article for internal staff.

Hi, Thank you. Are we planning on fixing or removing this number since we know its incorrect?

  • Seth Halvaksz

Barbara Key as i mentioned above we'll update this, i don't have a timeframe however
